Reporting to the Manager, Fan Engagement Strategy and Experiences, this role ensures operational excellence, delivering memorable and emotionally resonant activations that bring the U.S. Soccer brand to life and support fan growth, enhancing fan experiences, passion, sentiment, engagement and ticket sales goals. This position requires strong ownership mentality, urgency, communication, and organizational discipline. The Fan Engagement Coordinator will be expected to proactively move projects forward, manage multiple timelines simultaneously, and ensure fan engagement initiatives are executed with excellence from concept to recap.Success in this role requires much more than on-site event support. The Fan Engagement Coordinator will be expected to independently manage multiple fan engagement workstreams, proactively coordinate internal and external stakeholders, support the 360° amplification of activations across digital, email and media channels, and maintain operational excellence across planning, execution, reporting, and administrative processes.Primary Responsibilities  Fan Engagement & Experience OperationsCollaborate closely with the Fan Engagement Strategy and Experiences Manager to execute strategies that enhance both matchday and non-matchday experiences while fostering emotional connection, igniting passion, and driving fandom growth by blending world-class entertainment with authentic soccer culture and fan-first experiences. Support fan research efforts by collecting data on engagement trends and activation performance. Maintain records of activation best practices, operational workflows, and post-event reports. Support other duties as assigned related to fan engagement and matchday operations. Event & Matchday Activation SupportAssist in the planning and execution of fan engagement activations, matchday experiences, and grassroots initiatives to enhance fan interaction (including Fan HQ, Block Parties, Gate Giveaways, and thematic fan experience zones).Coordinate all logistics for fan zones, on-site activations, and experiences, ensuring smooth setup, operation, and teardown. Maintain activation assets and ensure inventory, signage, and branded materials are event-ready and aligned with brand standards. Serve as a key liaison with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to align on event planning and execution. Serve as an on-site point of contact during events, ensuring all activations run smoothly and resolving any operational challenges. Ability to travel to 100% of the US Soccer matches. 360° Fan Journey & Cross-Channel AmplificationWork closely with Social, Content, Marketing, Media Partnerships, Insiders, and Communications teams to ensure fan engagement initiatives are amplified across digital and fan-facing channels before, during, and after events.Support the creation and delivery of fan-facing communications tied to activations, including Know Before You Go materials, promotional touchpoints, supporter messaging, and event storytelling.Independently own assigned Fan Engagement initiatives and workstreams from planning through execution, follow-up, and post-event reporting.Contribute ideas, recommendations, and operational improvements that continuously elevate fan engagement experiences and increase impact.Maintain best-practice documentation, event recaps, and operational playbooks for future scalability.Cross-Functional CoordinationPartner with internal teams (Events, Production, Media Partnerships, Marketing, DEI, Insiders, and Supporter Groups) to ensure smooth operational flow across all fan touchpoints. Manage event logistics, assisting in staffing coordination, credentialing, and vendor scheduling for activation days.
