We create community, connection, and the joy of play for over 10,000 players a year through leagues, pickup games, and coaching programs, all with a fun, irreverent, and inclusive vibe. After a decade of steady growth, we’re entering our most exciting chapter yet: expanding the club into new markets — and we’re looking for a high-performer with an entrepreneurial mindset and a builder’s instinct to help lead that charge. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role at an established sports brand at the earliest stage of expansion. What You’ll Do You’ll lead all marketing efforts — from digital performance to strategic expansion — with an emphasis on action, experimentation, and measurable results. Our ideal candidate has experience owning the marketing playbook for a startup and a proven track record of achieving growth goals. You’ll help us build brand awareness, optimize member retention for existing operations, and unlock learnings for expanding the club’s geographic footprint, all while preserving SOPFC culture. Key responsibilities: Lead generation & player acquisition: Build and refine SOPFC’s digital funnels to convert awareness into player signups — across platforms like Meta and Google Ads, email, referral, partnerships. *Channel development: *Test, measure, and scale new paid and organic channels, with a knack for leveraging underutilized and unconventional tactics. Tie marketing campaigns to conversion metrics to measure campaign success. Build scrappy systems today that scale smartly tomorrow. Who You Are You’re a full-stack marketer, both data-minded and creatively-driven. You see the big picture, then roll up your sleeves to make it happen. Optimistic and solutions-oriented, you’re fluent in brand storytelling but just as comfortable in the weeds of CPL, CAC, and churn. You understand what drives people to click, register, and return — and you have the strategic instincts to scale what works. You’ll thrive if you have: 5+ years experience in growth, performance, or brand marketing roles — ideally for a startup, consumer brand, or membership-based business A portfolio of demand-gen or acquisition wins across digital and unconventional channels A deep understanding of storytelling — and how consistency, form, and function intersect to build a standout brand Experience designing growth loops, referral programs, and retention strategies that drive sustainable revenue Mastery of paid platforms (Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, etc), SEO principles, and lifecycle email strategy Fluency with tools like Mailchimp, GA4, Looker Studio, Meta Ads Manager — you know how to turn numbers into next steps A bias for testing, iterating, and optimizing — you move fast and learn faster Strong self-motivation and an independent work ethic A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and drive for excellence Bonus skills: Experience leading go-to-market strategy for new locations or consumer launches Keen eye for creative asset design Experience selling sponsorships or building brand partnerships Familiar with through-balls, braces, and one-twos The Vibe at SOPFC We’re a small team of doers who value transparency, creative problem-solving, and the art of having fun while working hard. On the field, we’re about hustle and camaraderie. Off the field, we bring that same team energy to our work. Our core values: Love what you do because it’s who you are Treat everyone like they play on your team Build trust through open communication Embrace change and rethink the playbook Perks & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience, plus sponsorship commission and performance-based bonuses Remote-flex culture with Atlanta roots (in-person meetings/events preferred) Switchyards membership (all-city coworking + coffee) Creative freedom + room to build your own team over time Equipment you need to get your work done effectively All the soccer your body can handle Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,175.00 - $124,388.00 per year Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Application Question(s): How is your previous experience relevant to this role?
