We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Middle School Boys' Soccer Coach for the Fall of 2026 season. You will be responsible for planning practices, guiding game strategies, and creating a positive, inclusive team atmosphere that promotes growth both on and off the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship for middle school boys' soccer players
  • Develop game strategies and coordinate team lineups to maximize performance during matches
  • Foster a safe, respectful environment that encourages positive behavior and sportsmanship among all players
  • Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to communicate team updates, schedules, and student progress
  • Implement behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and focus during practices and games
  • Promote health and safety protocols, including hydration, injury prevention, and proper warm-up routines

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sports coaching, especially soccer or related physical activities such as basketball, cheerleading, or martial arts like Karate or Judo
  • Demonstrated ability to work with middle school students in a teaching or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster discipline and teamwork
  • Strong communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with staff and parents
  • Experience with physical education instruction or teaching sports-related activities such as swimming or climbing is a plus
  • Lifeguard experience or health club/gym experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Passion for youth development, sportsmanship, and fostering a positive team environment

Your Game Plan:

On the Field: Coaching & Player Development (50%)
  • Provide supportive feedback, timely interventions, and consistent reinforcement.

Position Description 

US Soccer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Grounds Mechanic, to oversee the efficient and effective operation of all turf maintenance equipment and facilities golf carts for Arthur M. Blank US Soccer National Training Center; a premier training facility located outside of Atlanta, Georgia. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and inventory management of the turf equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition to support the groundskeeping team in providing surfaces that are safe, consistent, and aesthetically exceptional for professional trainings.

Primary Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all turf equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and dealerships to stay updated on the latest maintenance practices and technological advancements.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all turf equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Establish and implement a system for tracking equipment usage, maintenance records, and replacement schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Turf and Grounds to order and stock necessary spare parts to ensure timely repairs.
  • Assist in developing the annual equipment maintenance budget, including estimates for repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective maintenance practices while meeting quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Turf and Grounds and other grounds leads to coordinate equipment usage schedules and prioritizing maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with groundskeeping staff to address equipment-related concerns and provide solutions promptly.

Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead, train and develop a part-time hourly mechanic
  • Establish and enforce shop standards, safety protocols, and equipment operational procedures. 
  • Coordinate daily priorities with Director of Turf and Grounds.
  • Provide equipment training and safety best practices to all staff at NTC that will operate equipment
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in sports, golf or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of turf maintenance equipment, cutting reels, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines.
  • Technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
  • General knowledge of soccer.
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance (preferred).

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and work in a variety of physical positions for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by training and event schedules.

Position Description 

The Manager of Media Operations will be a key member of the U.S. Soccer media team supporting with broadcast operations for all U.S. Soccer events, including U.S. Senior Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, U.S. Youth National Teams and Extended National Teams matches and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Media Operations Manager will work closely with our media partners and internal teams to ensure match productions meet and exceed international standards. This position interfaces with U.S. Soccer media partners, FIFA Member Associations and Confederations, international rights holders, and a wide range of venues to coordinate and execute broadcast operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute broadcast operations at U.S. Soccer events, including but not limited to home and away U.S. Senior National Team matches, SheBelieves Cup, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and other ancillary events
  • Assist with the production planning and operational process via proactive communication between rights holders, production groups, stadiums, internal events staff, opponents and relevant third parties
  • Service visiting federations and international rights holders with onsite and remote production and operational needs· Assist with production and operational planning meetings and site visits with media partners, visiting team rights holders and venues in preparation for all matches
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key production points of contact for all media partners, including tv and radio rights holders, international takers and sport betting partners - managing relationships for both domestic and international events
  • Support and ensure delivery of enhanced broadcast and programmatic needs, including but not limited to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and virtual advertising signage
  • Produce and gather production related documents including running orders, team rosters, match timelines, and event guides and oversee the distribution of production and technical documents to domestic and international rights holders
  • Support with department’s production budget, processing event invoices and ensuring financial accountability and alignment with strategic goals
  • Document all internal and external workflow processes and changes to ensure accurate and up to date records
  • Document all technical requirements and workflows for broadcast to ensure clear communication, especially regarding technical caused changes that affect rights holders’ broadcasts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sports and/or live event broadcast operations
  • Proven experience in broadcast production and rights management
  • Knowledge of soccer broadcasting standards
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent events through multitasking and prioritizing efficiently
  • Ability to deliver high quality work and execute under pressure/deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with accreditation software is a plus
  • Able and willing to travel 50% of the time
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends as needed
