Position Description 

The Manager of Media Operations will be a key member of the U.S. Soccer media team supporting with broadcast operations for all U.S. Soccer events, including U.S. Senior Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, U.S. Youth National Teams and Extended National Teams matches and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Media Operations Manager will work closely with our media partners and internal teams to ensure match productions meet and exceed international standards. This position interfaces with U.S. Soccer media partners, FIFA Member Associations and Confederations, international rights holders, and a wide range of venues to coordinate and execute broadcast operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute broadcast operations at U.S. Soccer events, including but not limited to home and away U.S. Senior National Team matches, SheBelieves Cup, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and other ancillary events
  • Assist with the production planning and operational process via proactive communication between rights holders, production groups, stadiums, internal events staff, opponents and relevant third parties
  • Service visiting federations and international rights holders with onsite and remote production and operational needs· Assist with production and operational planning meetings and site visits with media partners, visiting team rights holders and venues in preparation for all matches
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key production points of contact for all media partners, including tv and radio rights holders, international takers and sport betting partners - managing relationships for both domestic and international events
  • Support and ensure delivery of enhanced broadcast and programmatic needs, including but not limited to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and virtual advertising signage
  • Produce and gather production related documents including running orders, team rosters, match timelines, and event guides and oversee the distribution of production and technical documents to domestic and international rights holders
  • Support with department’s production budget, processing event invoices and ensuring financial accountability and alignment with strategic goals
  • Document all internal and external workflow processes and changes to ensure accurate and up to date records
  • Document all technical requirements and workflows for broadcast to ensure clear communication, especially regarding technical caused changes that affect rights holders’ broadcasts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sports and/or live event broadcast operations
  • Proven experience in broadcast production and rights management
  • Knowledge of soccer broadcasting standards
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent events through multitasking and prioritizing efficiently
  • Ability to deliver high quality work and execute under pressure/deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with accreditation software is a plus
  • Able and willing to travel 50% of the time
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends as needed 
  • General knowledge of soccer
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission

Desired Qualifications 
  • Previous experience in sports and working with high profile athletes, coaches and teams
  • Deep understanding of the ever-evolving sports media landscape
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong broadcast technical operation knowledge – Audio/Video signal flow and transmission
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) – able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently preferred

Position Description

The Senior Coordinator will work in direct partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer, providing administrative support to maximize the output of seven (7) commercial departments: Business Ventures, Consumer Products, Events, Marcomms, Media & Broadcast, Partnership Development, and Partnership Marketing. 
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for an individual with an interest in meaningfully growing soccer in America and stepping onto the front lines of the commercial side of sports. The ideal candidate will serve a number of core business functions while having exposure and access to a variety of high-level projects, environments, etc. 

Primary Responsibilities 

Short-list of Responsibilities Include (not exhaustive): 

Department strategic planning and execution
  • Operational support for annual Commercial Offsite.
  • Provide operational support to 7 Commercial Departments in development of annual strategic planning (meeting schedule management, material prep, follow-up).
  • Provide administrative support of the business operations of the Commercial team through monthly commercial budget management (meeting schedule management, material prep, follow-up). 
  • Support the operational development of multi-year strategic outlook (MSO) across the department. 
  • Support operational management of key commercial strategic initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Support implementation process improvements across Commercial functions to increase efficiency, clarity, and scalability.
Direct support of Chief Commercial Officer
  • Direct support of the Board of Directors' Commercial Committee, including meeting coordination, department alignment, and meeting follow-up.
  • Day-to-day department support, including meeting management and direct administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer. 
  • Participate in weekly Commercial Leads meeting providing top line updates, summary, defined next steps to the group. 
Commercial Operations
  • Support Manager in managing department matchday hospitality to maximize senior national team matchdays.
  • Increase the visibility of the Commercial Department and organization through key-influencer outreach and Industry follow-up. 
  • Commercial programming lead for marquee external commercial events (i.e. Commercial Summit, shebelieves summit, etc.) 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree with an excellent record of academic and managerial or professional achievement (Graduate degree a plus). 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • General knowledge of soccer.
  • Passion for and experience with extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership, excellence, commitment, and other important intangible skills (i.e., collegiate athlete, military, volunteer, etc.). 
  • Strong, clear, articulate communication and writing skills; ability to conceptualize and communicate complex ideas easily.

Position Description

Working as part of the Advancement team and reporting to the Director of Advancement Operations, the Coordinator, Gift Processing is responsible for the accurate and timely recording, receipting, and acknowledgment of all donations. This role maintains donor records, generates reports, and supports data integrity, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal controls, and organizational gift acceptance policies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily gift processing activities including, using various giving platforms and Salesforce for gift entry, receipts, and donor acknowledgement production.
  • Demonstrated experience managing constituent data, demographic updates, gift entry, reporting, dashboards creation, gift receipts and acknowledgement letters.
  • Oversee collection and opening of mail, lockbox, and bank deposit processes.
  • Ensure that all pledges and gifts are processed and recorded accurately and acknowledged on a timely basis.
  • Researches and evaluates all gift-related documents and data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop process to streamline donor acknowledgement letters and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage escalated gift-related calls and data related issues as needed and collaborate with Advancement Team and other partners to resolve.
  • Stays up to date on legal or other related changes impacting charitable donations and makes recommendations for improvement and compliance.
  • Partner with Director, Advancement Operations to apply applicable laws, regulations, and procedures to all facets of gift processing, reporting and acknowledgement.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Advancement Operations with preparations for monthly reconciliation with Finance and Accounting.
  • Periodically review and update policies and procedures and ensure they are aligned with organizational gift acceptance policy and applicable laws.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and AASP gift processing and gift acknowledgement best practices for non-profits.
  • Ability to manage the daily workflow, conduct needs assessments, and develop plans to increase efficiency of departmental operations and process improvement.
  • Assist with the gift agreement review process including documentation, proofreading, tracking, scanning, preparing for signature, distribution, and other tasks required to finalize agreements.
  • Function as the subject matter expert for all gift processing systems and Salesforce.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience using Salesforce required.
  • Minimum 4 years of gift processing and/or accounts receivable experience with a proven record of accurate results and timeliness.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IRS guidelines for charitable giving, including substantiation, receipting, and donor acknowledgments, ensuring compliance and accuracy in gift processing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint,) and Outlook.
  • Solid relationship building and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sensitivity to needs of donors and able to manage confidential information discreetly.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong initiative to identify problems and propose solutions independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Position Description

The Coaching Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the technical objectives and operational aspects of U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Education Program. The position is operational but does require a strong understanding of soccer and a familiarity with coaching. In addition to the administrative duties listed, the position will also provide support to the department’s technical staff, as needed.  

To perform the primary duties and functions, this position requires someone highly organized and detail-oriented. The individual is expected to proactively contribute across multiple areas of the department. This position is responsible for exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, maintaining a customer service mentality, and communicating consistently and transparently with U.S. Soccer’s membership.  

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with U.S. Soccer members by providing training, support, and service 
  • Provide customer service support to coaches, educators, and administrators 
  • Plan and execute educational courses and events 
  • Maintain course curriculums and educational resources in U.S. Soccer’s LMS, as well as internally
  • Support the department’s digital assets to ensure consistency and quality 
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline 
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. Soccer programming; comprehension of Coach Education is a plus 
  • Must have a passion for the sport 
  • Strong interpersonal, consensus-building skills, with the ability to communicate and achieve results across multiple audiences in a complex organizational structure
  • Adept at building presentations to communicate ideas, e.g. Keynote, PowerPoint, InDesign
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Dedication to the highest level of standards and excellence
  • Able to work independently 
  • Proficient knowledge of Spanish-language skills is a plus
