Position Description

As a contributing member within the Finance department, the Financial Analyst serves the organization's staff, department heads, senior leadership, and Federation members through financial planning, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and operations. This position supports the management and presentation of the annual budget to support the organization’s strategic objectives. This role performs data analysis and develops reports across several areas including federation/departmental financial performance, national team games, and travel & expenses, while assisting with projects and analysis as necessary.

Financial Analyst are expected to participate in day-to-day responsibility for managing and controlling various revenue streams and expense drivers. This role will support accurate planning, reporting and analysis of the Federation’s operations. This position entails increased scope and complexity including strategic special projects. Must be able to fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making and provide necessary insight to executives, managers, department heads and personnel. Individual must be flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity. Individual must be able to commit to the time requirements of this position, which may demand extended hours as required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, improve, and automate the month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, including developing and supporting reporting packages for various internal and external stakeholders while ensuring forecasts are properly reflected in planning tools and systems
  • Contributes to the annual and long-range budget including department detail, summaries, while creating presentation decks through various approvals
  • Support coordination across financial systems to ensure consistency across multiple platforms and process owners
  • Analyze financial trends and corporate activity for strategic decision making and forecasting while working with the strategy department on framework for U.S. Soccer’s five-year projections
  • Build or modify various financial models to assess the viability of new business investments and other proposed business initiatives
  • Perform complex special projects at the request of Management
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related area of study
  • Minimum 2 years of analytical work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility
  • Ability to create and operate complex financial models; working knowledge of corporate finance is required
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and proficient in Word and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to accounting principles, financial metrics and financial statement relationships
  • Proven ability to prioritize a range of responsibilities and adapt as business problems change
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills with comfort and ability to develop clear, concise, and compelling executive-ready communications to various audience groups with limited guidance
  • General knowledge of soccer
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA/CPA
  • Efficiency with financial reporting software and systems
  • Prior experience working at either a non-for-profit, sporting organization, financial services, or public accounting firm

Position Description

The Assistant Press Officer (APO) supports the Men’s National Team (MNT) Communications Department by assisting with media relations, public relations, and content production activities. This role plays a key part in managing media operations, producing key materials for matches and events, and supporting storytelling efforts across multiple platforms. The APO will work closely with the Director of Communications and other departments to promote the team, facilitate interviews, and contribute to the broader organizational goals of U.S. Soccer.

This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with significant weekend work and extensive travel, both domestically and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce Game Notes and Lineup Notes for media, TV, and digital platforms for every match.
  • Assist with all aspects of Match and Roster Announcements in coordination with the Director of Communications/Press Officer.
  • Maintain and update statistical tracking documents, milestones, and records for the USMNT, sharing updates with relevant departments.
  • Edit all USMNT communications materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Support in organizing and scheduling media interviews for players, coaches, and staff both during and outside training camps and matches.
  • Coordinate media activities including MD-1 mixed zones, pre-training media scrums, and game day interviews (pre- and post-match).
  • Contribute to the production and editing of Match Reports and Game Stories.
  • Organize player headshots when needed and assist with visual media production.
  • Coordinate dissemination of media schedules and opportunities in each game market.
  • Liaise with content and video teams to schedule and deliver content across platforms.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation slides for internal camp meetings.
  • Support organization of visits from VIPs, athletes, and former players during training and matches.
  • Help coordinate large-scale content shoots, including new uniform launches and pre-tournament media days.
  • Assist in organizing World Cup Media Day and other major events.
  • Collaborate with brand and promotions teams to support ticket sales and match promotion.
  • Manage and update the online public relations (PR) schedule.

We are seeking a passionate Mobile App Developer to join our Product Engineering team. You will contribute to flagship applications that power fan engagement, player development, and grassroots initiatives—shaping how soccer is experienced in America.

As part of our team, you will focus on building cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter, collaborating with backend services and working in an event-driven environment to deliver responsive, scalable, and dynamic user experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter (Dart)
  • Support native development (as needed) in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)
  • Deliver features that integrate with backend APIs and event-driven systems
  • Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for fans, players, and organizations
  • Work with UI state machines to manage complex view flows and transitions
