Role Scope & Responsibilities

  • Follow the monthly Trainer Business Plan to grow both session count and client base.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions to retain and develop your current clients.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with players, families, and coaches.
  • Meet monthly with the TOCA Training Manager to review current performance and forecast weekly training commitments.
  • Work with the Training Manager to follow up with clients who have stopped training to identify and address trends in client turnover.
  • Take part in a focused “Win Back” plan to reconnect with and re-engage former clients.
  • Use TOCA training methods and technology to create personalized development plans for each player.
  • Implement Player Pathways tailored to individual goals and skill levels.
  • Develop a consistent evaluation process for both new and returning clients.
  • Share baseline session results with clients to support conversion and long-term growth.
  • Adjust training plans to align with each player’s long-term development goals.
  • Support TOCA’s service standards by helping maintain a clean, friendly, and well-kept facility.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager on guest recovery efforts and client service follow-up.
  • Set the example for training quality, client engagement, and adherence to TOCA standards.
  • Create an environment that’s energetic, positive, and welcoming for clients and teammates.
  • Always follow safety protocols and facility guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training, new program rollouts, and efforts to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Youth, Collegiate or Professional soccer coaching experience
  • Prior experience providing private, one-on-one training sessions is preferred
  • Background playing in a club, college, or professional setting is preferred
  • Desire to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departments, vendors, and clients.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Passion for creating an inviting and welcoming environment that aligns with TOCA Soccer Training's values.
  • Availability to work afternoons and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time.
  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds.
