Preschool Soccer Coach - Marietta League Site Coordinator

UPfield Soccer is looking for a qualified candidates to bring our to oversee the delivery of our seasonal league program at our Marietta location for the upcoming Fall Season and beyond.

The ideal candidate is a confident and reliable individual with a background in soccer and working with young kids. If you are interested in delivering an amazing first introduction to soccer for young kids age 2-6 in their first league experience as parents cheer on from the sidelines on Sunday afternoons in Marietta then please apply ASAP!

Some soccer knowledge necessary, but we can teach you what we've learned along the way - most importantly, league coaches must have the ability to boost kids' confidence and instill a "go for it" mentality!

This is a position that is perfect for college students, young adults, someone simply wanting to get involved, who love working with kids, and is interested in a fun and rewarding way to supplement their income in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. And as an added bonus, for those Coaches who join our team that are amazing and love what we do...there is always an opportunity to grow this into a full-time career opportunity!

The seasonal 6 week season takes place in the early afternoons on Sunday and each shift is 4-5 hours in length. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to Coach at our other locations throughout North Atlanta in interested.

UPfield Classes-

Our classes take place year round and at the same day and time for each of our amazing partner preschool and early learning centers. Each age appropriate session is 30-45 minutes in length and coaching shifts are from 1.5 - 5 hours in length depending on the enrollment for the assigned school. During the class children enjoy many dribbling and ball striking touches to provide them a foundation in the sport of soccer designed to propel them forward with confidence in both soccer and life.

UPfield Leagues-

Our leagues which are played on the weekends provide an excellent opportunity for kids aged 3-6 further develop and showcase their soccer skills. Each league game is preceded by a 15-minute UPfield "Mini Class". During the "Mini Class," children enjoy many dribbling and ball striking touches to prepare them for the league game.

UPfield Coach:

UPfield is a fun and exciting mobile soccer clinic for children ages 2 to 6. Using our proven fun, "fearless soccer fun" approach our coaches take creative play to a whole new level and introduce physical activity to young children in an amazing way.

The ideal candidate is a fun-loving, caring, and compassionate person who has experience with children aged 2-6, loves fitness and the benefits it can provide, is looking for a rewarding position that has full-time opportunities, and wants to make a positive and lasting impact on children by introducing soccer and team sports in a way that can impact them for the rest of their life!

Title of Position: Director of Programming (Part-Time, with future potential for full time salary)
Reports to: Owner
Locations: McDonough, Covington, Conyers (must be able to work in all areas)
Compensation: Based on experience ($23-27/hr)
Schedule: 4 days / week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings, and Saturdays. Currently about 20 hours / week.
Flexibility: Long term, this position will own scheduling and be able to dictate own personal schedule.

Objective of the Position: To execute the vision of Soccer Shots (We aim to provide a beloved growth experience for every child; a remarkable experience for every family) to enable the leadership team to successfully achieve seasonal and annual goals.

Summary of the Role:
The Director of Programming is a hungry, humble and smart leader worth following. You must have the heart of a coach FIRST, because that is where you will start - on the field coaching children. But you must also have a desire to act as a business leader - you will be expected to act as an owner and you will be rewarded for such initiative. You must be an adventurer with a passion to grow and multiply themselves. You must be a competitor, possessing grit, a scrappy demeanor, and a determined drive to hit audacious goals. This person has the ability to harmoniously integrate the major functions of the business, run the organization, and manage the day-to-day issues that arise. You are the glue that holds the people, processes, systems, priorities, and strategy of the company together.

You must be able to hire and train and teach other strong coaches.

You must be able to reliably drive yourself between McDonough, Conyers, and Covington. Hourly pay is provided for driving between sessions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and Partnership Management
    • To start, you will be primarily coaching on the field with the kids. You will be spending time at schools and parks coaching our program to children. Time spent will be dependent on growth and your ability to delegate.
    • Conversing with school directors and parents. Must be personable with an ability to get to know strangers.
  • Sales
    • You will be asked to make sales trips with owner to land new schools
  • Running the day-to-day operation
    • Once proven, owner will give you full autonomy to run this business as you see fit!! But you must prove it!

Sport Instructor

An i9 Sports Instructor is a very hands-on role responsible for sport specific coaching and management. We're hiring dependable, insanely, fun Instructors to lead our phenomenal Soccer League & Instructional Programs. Individuals who have/had extensive experience playing their respective sport should apply. Athletes that played in high school or college make ideal candidates but not required. This is a great way to "give back" to youth athletes!

About the Job:

The Sports Instructor will provide expert instruction & coaching in the fundamentals of the sport and will teach all aspects of the sport. Our kids range from 3 to 14 years old and are looking to have a professional fun environment. The ideal candidate will be extremely service-oriented, provide leadership that results in raving guest experiences and be supportive and encouraging. If you know how to have BIG TIME FUN while coaching/teaching, then this is perfect for you!
