Career
Summit 2026

On February 19th, 2026, powered by The Coca-Cola Foundation, the U.S. Soccer Federation hosted the second annual U.S. Soccer Sports Career Summit at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in downtown Atlanta. The Summit brought together more than 350 attendees from 17+ metro Atlanta schools and 20+ schools outside the region for a day of networking, career exploration, and professional development.
This year's event gave students a deeper look into U.S. Soccer in its lead-up to the 2026 World Cup, along with the broader sports industry, and the many career paths that support the game. Through panel conversations, track-based programming, and direct networking opportunities, attendees heard from leaders across U.S. Soccer, FIFA World Cup, former USMNT star Jozy Altidore, and more than 30 external organizations, including major Atlanta sports teams.
Students participated in one of four tracks based on their interests: Sporting (On-Field & Competition), Content, Creative & Media, Business, Strategy & Partnerships, and Growth & Impact. Each track highlighted different parts of the sports industry and helped students better understand the roles, skills, and pathways available across the game.
Whether you attended in person or are engaging with this content afterward, we hope the 2026 Summit continues to provide valuable insight and inspiration as you build your path in sports. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please reach out at careersummit@ussoccer.org.
