Position Description

We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and enthusiastic Sr. Coordinator, Partnership & Campaign Planning to join the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Integrated Marketing team.

As a crucial player in our fast-paced environment, the Sr. Coordinator, Partnership & Campaign Planning will work to maximize opportunities for our best-in-class commercial and media partner[JS1] s and the Federation by aligning our marketing goals and audiences. From match days to heritage months, from our Insiders fan loyalty program to the World Cup in 2026, there is an ‘always on’ annual calendar that provides key integration moments for our partners to collaborate with us on. Our brand positioning needs to come to life with every campaign we execute across our fans, partners, members and athletes.

This Sr. Coordinator, Partnership & Campaign Planning role will support as a business partner for the Partnership Marketing team, with responsibility for planning, executing and measuring all campaigns and ensuring alignment and support from all Marketing teams and agencies.

The role requires a commercially focused Marketer that understands the balance between partner fulfillment and the Federation objectives. A consensus builder to ensure buy in and execution, they understand that long term planning, clear communication and establishing a process across the Federation are keys to success. Results-driven but data-informed insights and measurement will be a key part of their mind and skills set. The candidate will have experience designing business process and proven success in planning, implementing and managing marketing tools and processes (such as workflows, content management, marketing calendars, budget planning and tracking, and campaign tracking). We’re looking for a Sr. Coordinator, Partnership & Campaign Planning with a passion for designing processes for efficiency and scale that has proven success driving continuous improvement projects across a marketing team.

The position requires someone who can ideate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, think on their feet, operate swiftly in the fast-paced environment of international soccer, and creatively connect with internal stakeholders to achieve both brand and business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Act as the Marketing Business Partner for the Partnership Marketing team, based in the Integrated Marketing team
Be responsible for cataloging partner objectives, campaigns, brand messaging, any influencers / creators, key events and any other relevant data to provide a ‘live’ play book for the Federation to reference when considering partnership activation ideas
Document all contractual obligations to ensure these are seamlessly integrated into the annual planning process across all departments where relevant
Create the process, documents and governance structure to ensure all marketing campaigns are effectively planned, executed and reviewed to meet all objectives
Provide Marketing support to the Partnership Development team on new pitches to provide updates on Marketing objectives, plans and campaigns where relevant
Evaluate needs within the team to streamline our work to drive scale and efficiency. This will include automating existing manual processes with new tools, re-designing existing business processes for efficiency, and/or bringing new tools to the team that enable new capabilities
Communicate brand partner objectives in conjunction with the U.S. Soccer narrative and go-to-market strategy
Work closely with the Partnership Strategy team to brainstorm and convey partnership opportunities in an organized and creative manner
Manage workflow and timelines of projects and communicate efficiently with internal teams.
Create and be responsible for the overall Marketing campaign drive calendar, showing both the planning and execution stages and key dates
Support partner creative and content efforts. This will include aligning idea generation with Federation objectives and guidelines, as well as contributing to production planning and day-of organization at tentpole media days
Work with Communications & HR to ensure this is shared across the Federation and a process established for questions or ideas relating to any campaigns
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of expertise
3+ years of experience in a planning or operations role within partnerships or marketing agency
Familiarity with soccer
Ability to maintain an understanding of clients’ brand and objectives alongside U.S. Soccer
Create and lead cross functional project plans and effectively prioritize projects to drive growth while balancing cost and resource restraints
An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
Experience identifying different sports trends and scenes on a regional and national level
Knowledge of marketing communications and storytelling with an emphasis on content and live experiences.
An expert at translating key strategic questions into projects, identifying requirements, relevant stakeholder groups and success metrics
Ability to explore and design scalable execution plans for long-term strategic planning opportunities
Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends & holidays
Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time to all domestic U.S. Soccer controlled matches
Quick learner who can function well in the fast-paced environment mandated by sports
Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Previous agency experience is a plus
Must reside or be willing to relocate to Atlanta in 2025

Position Description

The Research and Innovation Assistant will play a pivotal role in the implementation and operational execution of research and innovation initiatives within U.S. Soccer. Reporting directly to the Director of Research and Innovation, this position is designed to strengthen the department’s capacity to deliver high-impact, cross-functional projects that advance the health, performance, and development of players and staff across the U.S. Soccer ecosystem.

This role will have an impact on the implementation of research and innovation at the National Training Center and will primarily focus on coordinating and executing applied research projects, innovation pilots, and technology evaluations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in project management, with a strong understanding of scientific methodology and the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments. This position will work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g., Sport Science, Sport Medicine, Data Analytics, Sporting Analytics, Coaching Education, etc.), as well as external stakeholders (e.g., academic institutions, technology partners, and funding agencies).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the design and management of research and innovation projects. This may imply providing support in conducting experiments, including setting up equipment, preparing materials, and recording observations.
  • Assist in addressing applied research questions raised by high-performance staff, collaborating with external experts, universities, PhD candidates, or other partners when appropriate.
  • Conduct literature reviews to stay informed on emerging research, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Assist in the processing, analysis, and interpretation of data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Document experimental procedures, analyze results, and contribute to technical reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Support the creation of communication materials that translate research findings into actionable insights (e.g., develop and publish educational resources across digital platforms).

Position Description

Reporting into the General Counsel, the Senior Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the Federation and its affiliates.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and provide legal advice on general corporate matters.
  • Negotiate and draft a wide array of contracts, including technology, vendor, independent contractor, professional services, non-disclosure, licensing, data processing, and event agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial partnership agreements and provide associated legal advice.
  • Review, develop, and update U.S. Soccer’s data privacy and security practices, including but not limited to assessing technologies and systems, data collection, and data storage, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate and draft data-related provisions of commercial and other agreements, as well as create standardized templates.
  • Manage intellectual property portfolio, enforce U.S. Soccer’s intellectual property rights, and ensure acquisition of appropriate third-party licenses.
  • Provide counsel regarding all traditional, mobile, social, and digital media matters, including digital marketing, content, and advertising.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving legal and regulatory developments, particularly with respect to data privacy, intellectual property, and marketing/advertising.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on time-sensitive and complex projects and translate business objectives into agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments within U.S. Soccer to minimize risk and promote compliance.

Position Description


U.S. Soccer is seeking an experienced producer and audio expert to lead the Federation’s podcast, telling the story of soccer in all forms across the soccer landscape. This includes highlighting the Federation’s work in service to soccer, our members (referees, coaches, member orgs, etc…) and ultimately the best of us - our athletes, from our Senior National Teams to Extended National Teams.


The Podcast Producer will be responsible for the development, production, and distribution of the show. This role will be responsible for producing high-quality podcasts that bring to life the stories of soccer in the United States with narratives designed to deepen fan engagement, grow reach, and increase relevancy.

In addition to storytelling, the Podcast Producer will develop and execute segments to support the Federation’s commercial efforts in driving revenue, including: growing Insiders, driving ticket sales, supporting kit launches, working with U.S. Soccer’s partners, etc… This role will work closely with the Director, Content Strategy and Planning on supporting these initiatives.


The Podcast Producer will also build adaptable and repeatable playbooks for international camps, tournaments and match days. Create a 365- content engine designed to keep the engage soccer fans year round with an audience-led approach and collaborating with Director, Social Media on distribution.


We are seeking someone relationship driven with the ability to collaborate, communicate and build trust with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.


Travel to team events, camps and games will be required as needed.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end podcast production from segment development to final edits, ensuring high audio and video quality, in addition to engaging story telling
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop episode topics and interview outlines that aling with U.S. Soccer’s brand and messaging
  • Build, organize and manage podcast content calendar for episodes and campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Manager recording sessions, including remote and on-location interviews, using professional audio/video equipment and editing software
  • Identify and book relevant guests, both internal and external, including players, coaches, U.S. Soccer leadership and other voices from the soccer ecosystem
  • Implement strategies to grow listenership through social media, partnerships and innovative content distribution.
  • Manage the podcast release schedule and optimize distribution across platforms
  • Track performance metrics, analyze listener data, and adjust strategy to improve reach and engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, social media and video teams to amplify podcast content
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Marketing team on the ideation and development of segments for partners and ensure branded content delivers and complies with platform and partner requirements
  • Have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of best practices and remain at the forefront of innovation for each platform
  • Promote inclusivity, conversation and engagement on platforms by joining in relevant conversations and aligning with meaningful cultural trends
Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience managing podcast production
  • Used to performing and exceling in fast-paced environments, while under pressure
  • Proficiency in audio editing software (Adobe Audition, preferably)
  • Strong writing and scripting skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Knowledge of podcast hosting platforms, distribution strategies, and audience growth tactics
  • Experience conducting interviews and managing guests
  • Passion for soccer and an understanding of the sports’ ecosystem in the U.S
  • Capable of working with a large number of stakeholders
  • Background or experience working for a media/news company is helpful
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
